Refuge International Community Learning Event (Afghanistan)

On November 20th from 6:30-8:30, Refuge will have a special Community Learning Opportunity entitled “Afghanistan Revisited: A Conversation With Afghan Christians On Life, Ministry, And Migration To Louisville.”

Four years ago, following the fall of the Afghan government to the Taliban, Refuge had the privilege of welcoming seven Afghan Christian families to Louisville through Adopt-A-Family teams from four partner churches. Since then, these brothers and sisters have walked the long, challenging road of establishing new lives in America and charting new pathways for ministry that was begun in their country of origin. In this Community Learning Opportunity we will hear from some of these brothers and sisters regarding their experiences in life, church, ministry, and immigration to Louisville, and how we can partner with them in ministry today!
