At 6pm on the Friday before Easter, we will gather in our normal Cooke Hall worship space to observe one of the most powerful holy days in the Christian year: Good Friday. We will read the story of Jesus’ passion, confess our sins, and hear the Word preached. At no time is the weight of God’s holiness and law felt more powerfully than on Good Friday. But even tonight, as our savior dies on the cross, we know that resurrection and new life wins in the end.
