Acolyte Training

All Parish

Join our newly re-vamped acolyte ministry! This training will cover everything an acolyte needs to know and do, including:

• Carry our large cross with ease

• Easily light a candle lighter with an aim 'n' flame or lit candle

• Help the deacon prepare the communion table in a worshipful manner

• Sit calmly in the front row or with the clergy during the service, vested

Note: acolyting is open to anyone in 4th grade or aged 10 years and older (there is no upper age limit for acolyting). Not every young child will be able to do all of the above, but we encourage everyone to look forward to the opportunity and to keep trying as often as they'd like.
