Will Schlopy

Will is foremost a sinner saved by the finished work of Christ. He treasures his role as husband of Aimee and father to Zivah and Noah. Furthermore, he longs to meet his two children who, as the early church would say, passed through the world, without ever being touched by sin, into the presence of the Lord.

As for instruction, Will received a B.A. in Music from California State University, Fullerton. Several years later, he spent a little time at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Will has worked at Trader Joe's for 15 years. He currently serves as an assistant manager at the store in Louisville.

Regarding his ministry at Grace Anglican, Will loves serving the congregation through music. On a weekly basis, he is often accompanying the church on guitar and singing with the choir. He considers it a privilege to support the church in "singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" (Col. 3:16, Eph. 5:19) to God and to each other. Will is especially excited to lead the congregation in singing the Psalms during the worship service.

Few things delight Will more than coming home from a long day at work and seeing his family. One of his favorite things is sitting with them after dinner and reading (aloud) the great books and stories. And in the wee hours of the morning, he strives to make time to compose music, write poems and children's stories, and pray.
