David Brannen is a retired Anglican priest who assists with worship and pastoral care at Grace Anglican Church. A 1996 graduate of Trinity Anglican Seminary, he has worked in local church ministry for 35 years. He first served on the staff of St. Stephen’s Church in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and later became founding pastor of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Versailles, Kentucky.
After retiring from St. Andrew’s, David began a spiritual direction ministry called My Inner Life. He works mostly with clergy, meeting with them to pray and listen to the Lord together, in order to help them more clearly discern the Lord’s work in their lives. In this role, David is able to share the benefits of his many years in pastoral ministry. He was trained and holds a certificate in spiritual direction from Christos Center for Spiritual Formation.
David and his wife, Claire, enjoy time with their children and grandchildren, most of whom live nearby and get together frequently at the Brannens’ home in New Albany, Indiana. David’s also a lifelong runner, a sometime golfer, and a fishing enthusiast still looking for a good fishing spot near home.
