The women of Grace Anglican get together regularly for fellowship. Some recent events include an Epiphany Dinner at The Joy Luck Chinese restaurant, and a pot-luck social at a parishioner's home. More social events are coming up; check the Events page for details on upcoming events.
Led by Tiffany Childs, the Women's Bible study will meet at the Childs' home on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm (beginning September 4) and will study the book of Hebrews. Email the church at email@example.com for address and directions. Get the study guide HERE or HERE.
Written for Jewish Christians who lived in Jerusalem, Hebrews' purpose was to exhort Christians to persevere in the face of persecution. At this time, certain believers were considering turning back to Judaism (the Jewish system of law) to escape being persecuted for accepting Christ as their savior. Hebrews reminds us of the powerful Good News, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. The theme of the epistle is the doctrine of the person of Christ and his role as mediator between God and humanity. Join us for what is sure to be a powerful time of study and fellowship.
